Minutes on the outside, hours on the inside – and the entire dial glows: the Graz 39 combines the navigators' type B layout with a luminous dial. It is a historically faithful pilot watch with a hand-wound movement in the compact 39 mm size.
In the dark, the minute track becomes a dark pattern on a glowing background. Together with the black lacquered hands, this keeps every minute readable – even where other watches show only individual luminous dots. By day, the dial looks bright and calm.
The case follows the observation watches of the 1940s: barrel shape, straight lugs, closed press-fit case back and a dark sandblasted finish with the marking FL23883. Of the five historic manufacturers, Laco is the only one worldwide that has kept this construction to this day.
The hand-wound movement is wound by hand every day. Thanks to its compact size, the Graz fits slim wrists, and the black riveted calfskin strap sets a contrast to the light dial. If you are looking for an authentic observation watch that shows a completely different side at night than by day, this is the one for you.
