Buying
a MAXIMILIAN Atomic Wrist Watch is keeping up with
the latest watch technology. Always having reliable
exact time together with simple logical handling are
essential assets which you will quickly appreciate.
Maximiliam
Atomic Watches receive a signal from the WWVB
time transmitter near Ft. Collins, Colorado within
a radius of approximately 1500 miles. Once a day (at
1:00 am local time), the watch synchronizes with the
NIST
Cesium Atomic Clock, accurate to better than 1
second in 20 million years! The watch also adjusts
automatically for daylight savings time, and uses
the signal to calibrate it’s internal quartz,
which ensures accuracy even when the signal is not
received (also when traveling outside the US).
Maximilian
Atomic Watches are set to the atomic time before they
leave the factory. Afterwards they reliably take care
on their own to be always precise to the second.
The
cases of Maximilian Atomic Watches are made of remarkable
materials: because of its characteristics high-tech
material Carbon is often used in sports equipment
that with higher specifications, like ski boots or
mountain bikes. Stainless Steel is still the most
used material for watch cases. It is particularly
durable and scratch-resistant and therefore guarantees
a long life time. Titanium which has been used initially
in space technology shows big toughness and stands
out due to low weight and high stability. In addition
Titanium cases are best suited for allergic people.
High-polished stainless steel is coated with Ceramic
at 540°F and becomes extremely resistant. This
material stands for its distinctive shine and leads
to a very precious watch design. Ceramic-coated
cases and bands are also used for watches out of the
"German Museum Collection".
Our
latest atomic watch design - a three-part case - utilizes
all positive features of above mentioned materials:
Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Ceramic. The middle
part and the back of the case are made of lightweight
and anti-allergic Titanium, whereas scratch-resistant
stainless steel is used for the case ring (lunette).
Fans of ceramic design can chose a ceramic-coated
steel ring. |
